Genetic defects and monitor effect of modern devices affect the eyes very much. Unless you care for them it is very difficult to protect your eyesight.

Here are five easy tips for your New Year eye-care.

1) Give a ten-second rest for your your eyes every half-a-hour while you are using your eyes for watching or reading.

2) Wash your face when you feel fatigue in the eyes and keep the eyes moist.

3) Do not forget to add greens and fruits to your diet.

4) Wear safety glasses whenever needed and sunglasses when you go out in the sun.

5) Get your eyes checked at least once in a year.

Many degenerative eye diseases such as Glaucoma, Cataracts and Retinal Disorders need to be caught early as it’s often too late once you get symptoms.
